Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving by partying out at Brian and Lorna's house.
We put together a gingerbread train and then Lorna took us to a wicked sledding hill near their house and we went sledding. We ate our feast when we got back and then watched the movie "Hancock" while we ate our pumpkin, chocoate silk, and blackberry pies. Soo yummy!

The day after Thanksgiving we all went to a local green house to pick out our christmas trees. It's a little different then going out in a forest and getting your own (which I really miss) but it is nice to have a beautiful fragrant tree to enjoy. You would think that in Alaska there would be nice wild christmas trees to choose from, but this is not the case. The trees are scraggly. After we got the tree decorated Troy started pulling all of the ornaments off of the tree and chucked em' across the room. So the majority of ornaments are on the top of the tree out of reach.

EM POSTED!!! YEAH!;) The gingerbread train looks very cute and fun--also, your little natives are adorable...I know what you mean by not being able to take a picture because they are running around so fast! LOL!
