Okay, so I'll admit it. I called Baden a nerd when he said he wanted to join a metal detecting club. Who wouldn't? ;) But, it has actually been a really fun hobby for our family.This was the semi-annual hunt at the Palmer fair grounds. It's fun to watch Baden compete and listen to all the old farmers talk about what life was like in Alaska 50 years ago. 
The boys really enjoy playing and looking at all of the"pennies" dad finds.

Wow I thought I was a nerd with all my video games! I have now been kicked off of the nerd throne.
We all miss you guys. You need to move back to Utah so that we can see you more.
