The Garden of Eden

We planted a garden out at the Nelson's (Baden's cousins) property around the first week of June. You might think that is kind of late in the season, but we are about a month behind most everywhere else. We slaved away for about 2 days straight to clear this spot that was previously a wood pile. We dug up stumps, lots of sticks, rocks and more rocks. All with our bare hands and a few hand tools whilst chasing kids.

Nice looking fence eh?
I know it LOOKS like Baden is doing all the work, but I was working too. With a baby on my back!
We got desperate and tied Wyatt to a tree because he kept trying to go up the hill and and hang out with the pigs. We're just lucky he never figured out that all he had to do was take his pants off to escape.

You're probably thinking our garden looks pretty ghetto. We, however, think it's the most beautiful garden EVER. But that's not why we call it the Garden of Eden. We named it that cause we haven't had ONE weed to pull since we cleared the plot. Just beautiful veggies!

I love the picture of Wyatt. There's a place near shelley that has a sign- "The Garden of Eatin'"

What kind of veggies did you plant? Any cucumbers? I know Baden always loved those when we were growing up. Dad does too. Hey, Baden. Why don't you comment on mine too, eh? Don't ya like us?:)
