dinner disasters! So I've had a couple of meal blunders this month and Baden encourages me to laugh at myself even when I am in a very frustrating situation. First I tried making a Cuban Black Bean Soup and I did not know to cook and RINSE the beans BEFORE they are added to the soup. It basically turned purpleish so I named it Halloween Soup and had a good laugh.
This next one was a yummy Chicken Pot Pie. The top crust was sticking to my rolling pin and I had added too mush flour so it was all crumbling everywhere. Of course I was TICKED and I just started throwing the nasty crust clumps on top and Baden came over and he was like " Yeah! who cares what it looks like! It's still gonna taste good!" That made me feel a hundred times better. I love you Baden.(He took the picture,he must have been proud:)

Baden always makes me laugh. He's so dang optomistic! I love that boy! I think he gets it from the Bailey side. Grandma and mom always laugh things off to deal with it. I've always loved it! But sometimes, i'd get mad at my mom and say "can't you ever be ticked?! I don't want to laugh right now! I want to be mad!" Then, of course, she'd laugh!
That's the great thing about guys... they'll usually eat anything no matter what it looks like! :)
That chicken pot pie actually looks really yummy! I did that same thing with black bean soup once. Only I had put ham in it so the ham was purple too. Eeeew.
