Pumpkins!

So we kicked off the month of October by carving pumpkins on the first day! A friend of ours invited the boys over to carve pumpkins. Sadly, they do not have pumpkin patches up here because the growing season just isn't long enough. Some people do grow pumpkins but they have them in a greenhouse. Fred Meyer had them on sale for 38 cents per pound, but I don't really know if that was such a GOOD deal or not. Anyway, I let Parker and Wyatt draw the face they wanted on the pumpkin and then I cut them out. It was a lot of fun and I just loved how they turned out! Parker's is on the left and Wyatt's is on the right. I think they match their personalities. Oh, I should mention that they are totally frozen and that's why they look partially decroded.
